We are super excited to celebrate our special day with all of you! 🥰🏝😎🇲🇽🥂🍾
Two important points:
1. As we've reached out to most of you, since it's a beach ceremony, we are doing an all white (dress attire) wedding. It will be during the middle of a probably hot day, Ceremony 4pm on the beach. For the guys, feel free to dress more casual, a white button-up shirt of any kind would be just fine. Probably too hot for a coat but feel free to bring one as you can always take it off.
2. We like to gather everyone somewhere at the resort on Tuesday evening since everyone will have arrived by then. Will be nice for everyone to socialize and meet each other prior to the wedding day if you like to join us. Will be something casual and laid back. We'll work with the wedding coordinator to see what he suggests and update you on the details.
**Reminder to check your passport expiration**
Resort stuff: Some things to know and do: Guys make sure to bring pants haha, some of the all-inclusive restaurants at the resort are nice dining and require pants and probably shoes. The resort/ location is a gated area, us guests at the Riu Palace have access to the other smaller Rius' that’s within walking distance or any. They all have different things.. like the Riu Tequila has a night club and an Italian restaurant. I don't know much detail about the other Riu's but I'm sure there will be more info at check-in regarding this or online. Very near by is the popular Quinta Avenida (5thAvenue) - 5 mile stretch of everything that tourists love, see link below. Also near by is Tulum Ruins, probably #1 popular site. We're much closer to it than the resorts near downtown Cancun. That part of Mexico is known for the different excursions you can book, links below as well. Don't get carried away as there's a ton going on at this huge resort so give yourself plenty of time for that and just to relax and take it all in.
